Corporate Compliance

What is HIPAA Compliance

HIPAA, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, sets the standard for protecting sensitive patient data. Any company that deals with protected health information (PHI) must ensure that all the required physical, network, and process security measures are in place and followed. Visiting Nurse Health System is committed to promoting strong business ethics and accountability within the company, with a strong focus on corporate and HIPAA compliance.

If you wish to report a compliance issue call the hotline at 404-215-6181 or contact Annie Wingate.

You may also contact The Joint Commission’s Office of Quality and Patient Safety to report patient safety or quality of care concerns regarding a Joint Commission accredited healthcare organization.
