Our organization spends more than $4 million dollars each year on patient care for the underinsured. These are patients who are often turned away from other providers because they are expensive to treat and yield little financial incentive to care for. For this vulnerable population, Visiting Nurse Health System is the community safety net. Your charitable contributions enable us to serve all patients regardless of insurance coverage or ability to pay. Thank you for helping support our work.

It is an honor for us to serve patients in their final days. In 2017, the cost of services we provided to uninsured and underinsured patients exceeded our reimbursements by $4 million. To make up any shortfall, we rely on the generosity of community donors like you for supporting our mission.
